Drug Rehab

Every time I hear about a professional wrestler that is dealing with drug problems I can not help wondering why that happens. On the other hand we need to understand that anyone of us can end up having drug problems and basically negative addictions that can kill us. This is why we do need to know about drug rehab facilities and I want to recommend one that is special and of high quality when talking about any Drug Rehab Program you might be thinking about. I am talking about CliffsideMalibu, a specialized facility that deals with addiction treatment, Alcohol Rehabilitation, rehab, substance abuse problems, interventions and a whole lot more.

There are a lot of topics that can be discussed and a lot of on site testimonials will show you why CliffsideMalibu is such a great opportunity, not only for yourself but for any acquaintance you have that suffers from any type of addiction from drugs to alcohol. For instance, just talking about Drug Detox, you will be happy to learn about all the success stories and the strategies used by the clinic to ensure success. Take a look at the high quality conditions in which patients will live during detox and see that care is what counts here. It is crucial in any drug rehab that the patient feels good and comfortable and this is one philosophy that is respected in this clinic. It never hurts to know about one, you never know when it might be needed.

TNA Hard Justice 2008 - My Review

As always, people might or might not agree with what I or anyone else is writing when talking about professional wrestling as there are TNA fans and WWE fans and the fight is on. I must say that I never made a secret of the fact that I enjoy TNA wrestlers more but the WWE does seem to be growing in storyline material and on the whole the competition between the two companies is interesting although WWE is far ahead of TNA at the moment. Leaving that aside I just saw Hard Justice some time ago and wanted to talk about it a little.

First match saw Creed versus Petey Williams for the X Division title. It was a pretty interesting match but the ending did not really satisfy me as Daivari interfereed and caused Petey Williams to retain the title. As expected, this being an X division wrestling match, it was quite entertaining and did make for a good pay per view start. Then we had the knockouts tag team match, one that should have been highly entertaining as the women's wrestling division in TNA is definitely of high quality. Traci Brooks was the special referee, something that I do not remember seeing before until TNA: a woman's wrestling referee. The start of the match was something that wanted to be funny, it was not for me, and then we had the actual wrestling match starting. It was not bad and the TNA Knockouts champion got the pin.

The next was a highly expected tag team match between Robert Roode and James Storm versus LAX for the tag titles. A lot of hype was around this match and Beer Money Inc. is quite catchy. On the other hand I really like LAX and I wanted them to win. This match looked pretty violent and intense and it did keep fans entertained. We did see the Three Amigos, a punch probably towards the Guerrero family and then Roode tried a frog splash that missed. This was the turning point as Hernandez got in and started laying out Beer Money Inc. Then all broke loose as a lot of near falls happened. This wrestling match had an incredibly intense ending, one that was so unexpected. We saw Hernandez execute the Border Toss on Homicide but landing outside the six sided ring on Beer Money Inc. This was not the end as the women got involved as well, together with Hector Guerrero but Beer Money Inc got the win after the beer bottle was broken on Homice as he was going for the Gringo Killer. An incredible tag team wrestling match and new tag team champions.

Next was Sonjay Dutt versus Jay Lethal, all accompanied by a feud story line that was very well built. The wrestling match had special stipulations as the two wrestlers were chained together and wearing a tuxedo. The win should come via pin fall or when one wrestler takes the costume off the other one. Jay Lethal won it via pin fall, quite a good match but without those chains I think it would have been a lot more spectacular. Next came the Jersey Street Fight that saw Team 3D lose the match with Christian Cage and Rhino. It was quite a good match with a frog splash finish. Abyss also appeared and saved Cage and Rhino after the match. Then we had the last man standing wrestling match but with TNA rules, which means that first you have to pin or submit your opponent prior to the referee starting the ten count. AJ won the match but Sting attacked AJ. This was definitely unexpected. The main event saw Samoa Joe defeat Booker T thanks to a guitar hit. It is becoming quite strange but for me it seems that faces use the guitar and heels Sting's baseball bat. This is quite worth a watch. Hard Justice 2008 was a pretty good pay per view in terms of wrestling but I do think it could have been better. Be sure to watch SummerSlam and Edge versus the Undertaker in Hell in a Cell this weekend.

Crazy Edge Versus the Undertaker at Summerslam

Well, I really do not have any idea who the WWE got to write the stories now but I must say that I am quite impressed. This entire Edge versus The Undertaker feud is very interesting and did not go as people expected at all. In most cases the stories would be guessed by wrestling fans but this one was quite unexpected. The black rose turnaround was pretty cool and the fact that they are putting a crazy Edge in hell in a cell against The Undertaker just made this the most expected match at Summerslam. I must also say that the choices made by the WWE are quite good as the matches at Summerslam should be a feast. It will be interesting to see how the Undertaker would wrestle and if he really is 100% and Edge should be awesome as well. I expect them to go to the top of the cage of course but what I really expect is to see a match that could go either ways. For the first time in this Undertaker versus Edge feud I would have no problem with Edge wining the match and seeing Undertaker go with Kane and re-forming the Brothers of Destruction. Kane's storyline is interesting, John Cena versus Batista is interesting and even Santino and Beth Phoenix is nice to see. For the first time in history I get to see that Triple H's title and CM Punk's title are put on the line in a pay per view in two matches that are not so eagerly expected by fans as matches that do not have a title on the line: Edge versus the Undertaker and John Cena versus Batista. This is one wrestling match that should not be missed ad I am sure everybody is expecting something HUGE!

NFL Picks Forum

As I said in the past, I am not only a wrestling fan and I do enjoy a lot more sports. This is why once in a while I also recommend some web sites that I come across. Now I will tell you about a forum that is sure to become popular in my view, one that deals with nfl picks and has various sections that you will be happy to look at. The good part is that you can talk about a lot of things including sports betting, your favorite NFL teams and various fantasy football and baseball is included as well. Be sure to visit this forum, register and get involved as it is a lot of fun.

My View on The Great American Bash

The Great American Bash is one pay per view that did get the public quite ecstatic. Although I must admit I am starting to like the TNA pay per views more, WWE can not really be left out due to the fact that they do have the money to back such events and they do have some interesting wrestlers that can deliver, although not always as they are not allowed to do as much as in TNA. Let us think about The Great American Bash 2008 and see what happened.

First off we had a match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. It was about time that John Morrison and The Miz lost those titles. Really, the entire tag team division of the WWE turned to worthlessness. Finlay and his son can not really be considered a great tag team. The little guy may be entertaining but that's about it. We then had Hawkings and Ryder plus the team of Jesse and Festus. I thought that maybe Jesse and Festus would get this one as Festus has an interesting style. Well, it was not really like that but it was Festus that basically cleared the ring and then Hawkings and Ryder picked up the win. Not a great match though.

Not a bad pay per view from the WWE but I do think that there is something missing and maybe a change would be needed in the WWE as I see it losing ground in front of TNA.

The next match saw Matt Hardy vs Shelton Benjamin for the US title. I was expecting a Matt Hardy win, although the match should have been more aerial with a lot more high risk moves but hey it was not. Shelton Benjamin won it, the new US title holder and again my favorite in the match was not awarded the win by WWE writers. The match was not that bad but it could have been a lot better in my view. Hardy's missed moonsault did not look that good.

Then we had Mark Henry vs Tommy Dreamer. Well, Mark Henry is not a favorite of mine, I did not want him to win but it was obvious that he will. Tommy Dreamer on the other hand is already quite a legend when talking about ECW and the ECW title could easily be around his waist. It was quite unexpected that Tommy Dreamer lost thanks to an interference by his student. Not a bad idea but the match in itself was not that spectacular, just like any match with Mark Henry.

Then a nice grudge match, so to say, Chris Jericho versus Shawn Michaels. Now this was a match I wanted to see although the entire eye injury idea for Shawn Michaels is kind of stupid. Both wrestlers are very good and good when talking about entertainment also. Two great wrestlers that did go for a battle here. Lance Cade interfered, of course, but it is sad to see that no help for Shawn Michaels was present. On the other hand Michaels did execute some of the rare wrestling moves including the moonsault to the outside taking out both Jericho and Lance Cade. There was too much blood on Shawn's face at the end and the ending, a referee decission of Jericho winning as Michaels can not continue was not what the fans wanted for sure. On the other hand the effect was there and the fans did look like they liked it and we are talking about entertainment in the world of wrestling.

The divas match should not even be mentioned as wrestling wise I really do not watching the divas, I do not really know why but I simply do not enjoy the Divas in WWE. Michelle McCool won via submission with a heel hook after Natalya also went for submission. Wrestling wise the match was much better than a lot of wrestling matches between women we previously saw in the WWE.

The next match was for the World Heavyweight Championship, title holder CM Punk versus Batista. I expected Punk to win it but with a domination of Batista. CM Punk's kicks were quite interesting and Batista's strength moves were also well delivered. The contrast in styles between the two wrestlers was the main factor that made the match interesting. We also saw a huge spinebuster on the outside and then a no contest for the World title. Kane interfered and laid out both wrestlers. That was not great. The match was not bad at all, quite good and saw Batista heading for a win and we should have had a finish to the match.

Now we also had a NY City parking lot brawl between John Cena and JBL. HMMMM, let us say that this was not great from my point of view. I like watching wrestling matches not simulated street fights as they always look like not real. At least the wrestling matches are more spectacular due to the moves you can perform in the ring and even right outside it. Parking lot brawl is never that spectacular, not to mention the fact that it is kind of dangerous. JBL won it after Cena seemed to win it with ease. Short but intense, not bad but still not my favorite type of match. We hope the feud will continue due to the fact that it was kind of well built with the interferences of Cryme Time and all.

The main event was what we all wanted to see from my point of view. I was expecting an Edge win so that he would re-become the champ and continue the feud with The Undertaker soon but it does look like The Undertaker will not be back as fast as I would like him to. On the other hand, Triple H versus Edge is a good feud as both wrestlers are good when talking about entertainment, guts and wrestling skills. The entire storyline is long and Vickie is involved. I really want to know where this whole thing goes in the future. The Game won the match only after Vickie tried to attack Edge and that wedding planner interfered only to get Edge to miss a spear and land it on Vickie. Pedigree and then the win for the Game.

Anniversary 2008 - WWC's Biggest Event of the Year

WWC's biggest show of the year recently took place. We are talking about Anniversary 2008, an event that showed a lot of interesting wrestling. The main event was a Teacher versus student match between Carlito and Ray Gonzalez, a match that Carlito lost. The ending was interesting as Carlito did shake Gonzalez' hand and called him a good teacher only to deliver the Back Stabber seconds later and spitting the trademark apple in his face. Trevor Murdoch also worked on this show although he was recently released by the WWE. He lost to Carlito's brother, Eddie Colon. Another interesting match saw TNA superstar Rhino losing to none other than Bobby Lashley, quite an interesting match.
